Our Halloween

We really "Halloweened" it up this year. Tuesday the kids and I went to Koala Kids to go trick or treating at the melaleuca home office. What an easy day of work for me. I got to take the kids trick or treating and get paid for it. I love my job! I only work two days a week and the kids absolutely LOVE the days we go. So fun.
Then Emily went to her preschool class at Mrs. Mckellars and we had a party there too, which included an awesome magic show.
That night we went to our ward Halloween party and ha a blast there as well.
Then the day of Halloween the kids and I decorated the house, made chili, and lots of sugar cookies. Then Brianne, Grant and Luke came over for a party! We had chili and corn bread, went trick-or-treating (our favorite part. Camden was so excited probably ran at least 2 blocks going door to door. It was so fun watching my two cute kids have so much fun.) Then we came home and decorated our sugar cookies. A fun filled holiday for sure!

I Love My Family

Today I was such a proud Mama. Emily had her primary program, and she did great. She wasn't nervous one bit! We spent the morning getting her ready in her new sparkly dress, curled her hair, painted her nails, added a little blush and lip gloss, and the best part was she got to wear my tiara (really just a sparkly headband with jewels) from my wedding day. She felt so special and she told me it made her feel brave. Such a big deal for my shy little girl. She loved being in the program and smiled the whole time she was up there. I got choked up a few times, overwhelmed with the fact that she really is growing up too fast. After dinner we celebrated with Emily by lighting a fire in the fireplace and cooked s'mores in the living room. Then the whole family snuggled up on the couch while we read a whole stack of books by the firelight. Truly a perfect night.

Snow Day

We had the first snow of the year. What fun! The kids had a blast making snow angels and snow balls. Then when they were frozen they came in for hot chocolate...the best part of a snow day!

Pumpkin Patch

Our annual trip to the Upick Red Barn pumpkin patch! We love the chickens, wagons, suckers, and most of all the train! Such a fun place, we love it.

Camden's 2nd Birthday

I can't believe my baby is already two years old, and at the same time I can't believe he's only been in our family for two years. I can't hardly remember life without him. He is such a sweet and happy little boy and he makes our family complete. A little bit about our Camden:
He LOVES dirt bikes. They are his absolute favorite thing in the world. His other favorites include cars (especially Lightning McQueen), trains, and his blanket. His favorite food right now is french toast. He loves playing with his big sister, and his puppy. He got a bike for his birthday and has thoroughly enjoyed riding it around the house. He loves to make us laugh, and is quite the ham which we totally love about him! He is friendly to everyone he meets, especially at the store. He likes to say "hi!" and "bye!" to everyone he sees. He can melt anyone's heart with his smile. We love you so much Camden!

Fall Fun!

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. This year has not let me down one bit, we have had perfect weather lately! Cold, crisp, but sunny. Even the rainy days are nice because they remind me of Washington. Steve and the kids had a blast playing in the leaves the other day. Great memories!
