Memorial Day Weekend '08

For Memorial Day weekend we spent a couple days at Aunt Leslie and Uncle Blaine's beautiful lodge in Lava Hot Springs. It was so fun! We were there with Steve's family and the Kinghorns who are very close family friends. We had a blast playing games, watching Indiana Jones, enjoying good foods and before we left on Monday we soaked in the hot pools.

Poor Steve had Calculus homework-yuck! But Sam (the genius) helped him finish it while the rest of us played.

Uncle Sam and Emily playing around. They really have become very close-in fact just the other morning Sam surprised us with a visit and he got to feed Ems her first bottle of the day. I think he enjoyed that time with her.

So this is Emily's newest trick-she can feed herself! It's so nice for Steve and me-especially during car rides. We just pass her bottle back to her and she's a happy camper-this will be very helpful for our long car ride to Washington this summer.

More news-Emily got another tooth! She now has her bottom front teeth. It is adorable. I'm still working on a picture, but it is still proving difficult. Sorry!

Thank you to Blaine and Leslie-we had so much fun at the Lodge! It was extra special because it was our first "family vacation" (if you can call it that) since Sam left on his mission. It's just so good to have him home.
