Emily Update

Our little Emily sure is growing up! She does and says the most hilarious things all the time and keeps us laughing always. She and Toby are the best of friends and really grow closer everyday. They follow each other around all day, and Emily loves to use Toby's doggy door just like him.

Emily's become quite the ham when it comes to the camera. She LOVES to have her picture taken and then look at them all, she especially loves me to take videos of her. She could watch them all day! She's so fun to take pictures of now because she actually smiles on command! She also loves to pull some funny faces for the camera...

Emily and Steve have always been super close, but since I received my calling they've gotten even closer. Every tuesday night they have their daddy daughter time, and Emily loves it! She gets to have daddy all to herself and she gets to do things that mom probably wouldn't let her do. One tuesday night I came home from mutual to find Emily in the street, in her underwear dancing in the gutters! We had just had a thunder storm so the gutters were full of water, was it a little gross? would I have let her do this? Probably not, but that's a father's perogative-to be fun!

Emily has also become quite the social butterfly. She loves having friends and has made lots of friends lately. We got a playgroup going in our ward and Emily loves being able to have other kids to play with. Wherever we go, if she sees another kid she instantly runs to them and wants to be friends. I love how kids can go from complete strangers to good friends in a matter of seconds. Too bad we' re not all like that, huh?

Our good friends Chad and Amy came to visit at the end of August from Iowa with their twins. Emily, Ellie and Lily have been friends for a long time and when they got together it was like they were never separated! We sure had fun with you Conger

We used to play in the gutters all the time as kids, those are so of my best memories!
