Pumpkins and Uncle Matt's Birthday

This last week was Uncle Matt's birthday! We had a family dinner to celebrate and also had our annual family pumpkin carving. Emily had a total blast!! She loves pumpkins, and enjoyed squishing, eating, and putting the guts back in the pumpkin. What a silly girl...

Emily loves birthdays. She likes to sing Happy Birthday, blow out birthday candles and open presents; luckily she has very sweet Aunts and Uncles who let her help them do these things on their birthdays! Matt got lots of help opening his presents and blowing out his candles this year!

We're so excited for Matt, he recently got his mission call to the Ventura, California mission! He leaves January 5th so we're glad to have him here for the baby's birth and the holidays! We'll sure miss him when he's gone but we are so proud of him!
